Buttermilk Pancakes

I'm a rather slow worker when it comes to miniature making so I only update my blog once every two weeks. To everyone who follows my blog, thank you so much for being patient and staying with me.

This week, I present a pancakes prep board. The title 'buttermilk pancakes' is inspired by CafeWorld on Facebook. I'm super lousy at coming up with interesting titles to catch your attention - surely "buttermilk pancakes" sounds better than "Making Pancakes"?

The most difficult part was the shell. With the clay soft and wobbly, it was a challenge keeping the shell thin whilst maintaining the curvature. Nevertheless, making broken eggs is really REALLY FUN! Have a funtastic weekend everyone!

Your pancakes make me crazy! I absolutely adore them! Did you use chalk pastel to achieve the correct brownish color?

Gorgeous pancakes! I love the textures you have here - everything looks so realistic. I usually only want cakes, cupcakes and donuts in my house, but now I have a hankering for a pancake tray! I would ask if I could copy you, but I am not great with polymer clay so I won't be able to get it to look anything like yours. Beautiful work!

Thank you Chris... I've picked up the award and will do as instructed over this weekend!

Knotty by Nature .. no worries.. the idea of pancake is not exclusively mine. Good luck with your attempt!
