It is hard to find food miniatures in Singapore, other than the Japanese Re-ment or Megahouse collections. I collect Re-ment items too, especially their cake series but I find that their miniatures are getting bigger and bigger! Maybe I should showcase some of my secret items from Re-ment later. :)
Now that I have some time, I decided to make more miniatures myself. Making miniatures can be very time consuming and requires a lot of patience. Most importantly, it can be very expensive! Imagine this: to make one small strawberry, you need to buy one pack of clay, a big tube of red and green paint each, some lacquer... the list can grow! After careful planning, I decided to get some pastel colours for my donut project.
I also made some coloured sprinkles and "sugar" to coat the donuts. There you go - a plate of sweet donuts, made from air dry clay! How do you like them?
You may purchase from my Etsy shop www.ilovelittlethings.etsy.com or just drop me an email at email@example.com. If you like other flavours like chocolate donuts, I take custom order too! It will take about 1-2 weeks, depending on the quantity of donuts.
